I was excited about the pairs free. Will Sui/Han go for the quad? Which Americans will medal? Can Takahashi and Tran put down a clean program? Will a Canadian team make the podium? Well there were no surprises.
Duhamel/Radford: The Canadian National Champions skate to melodies from my favorite band. Coldplay, of course. Duhamel dress is perfect but I am not feeling Radford Casanova shirt at all. They are so rough with the choreography that it looses its punch. They had a good triple twist and synchronized side by side spins. To bad Duhamel botched all the jumps. Hope they clean up for worlds.
Dube/ Wolf: First of all their costumed don't match. Need a different set. They had a lot mistakes. After the triple twist and twiple salcow it all went down hill. Dube fell on the double axel, and the both throws. I was a struggle to watch.
Takahashi/Tran: I just hope they can skate two clean programs before the end of season.
Sui/Han: WOW! They have arrived to the big leagues. Quad throw check(two footed), Quad twist check, Triple toe-double toe-double toe check check check and check. They were just literally checking everything off the list. It was a technical smack down. They receive and season best and broke the two hundred mark. Very few teams have done that this year.
Denny/Coughlin:These two have gotten so solid. Reminds me of Ross Miner. There artistry is growing every time I see them. Great Job. Their triple twist is huge.
Standings: 1. Sui/Han
2. Denny/Coughlin
3. Marley/Brubaker
